Need Roadside Assistance For Your Genesis?
Big wheels, thin sidewalls, all-wheel drive and often nothing in the trunk to put on. The tire call is the Genesis call, and the size decides everything.

Genesis roadside help, dispatched nationwide
Road Rescue Network dispatches 24/7 roadside help for Genesis. These are well built and rarely break, so the calls skew heavily toward damage rather than failure: a destroyed tire from a pothole, a car that has to be moved without touching the paint, and the occasional flat 12V after a spell parked.
Who builds a Genesis, and why it changes the rescue
Genesis is Hyundai's luxury division, launched as its own marque in 2015, and is young enough that many rescuers have never worked on one. Most carry all wheel drive and air suspension, and the electric models sit on the same platform as the Hyundai and Kia EVs, which is the fastest way to know what you are looking at.
Genesis (Korean: 제네시스) is the luxury vehicle brand of the South Korean multinational conglomerate Hyundai Motor Group. Initially envisioned along with plans for Hyundai's new luxury Genesis sedan in 2004, Genesis was announced as an independent brand on 4 November 2015. Its first model, the Genesis G90, was released in 2017. Genesis models are designed in Rüsselsheim, Namyang, and Irvine, and produced in Ulsan. Genesis describes its design philosophy as "Athletic Elegance". By October 2025, the brand had expanded into 20 major markets, and its Genesis Magma Program formed part of its expansion into high-performance vehicles and motorsport.Genesis on Wikipedia

What a rescuer has to know before they roll on a Genesis
These are the things that go wrong when a Genesis gets whichever truck was closest instead of the right one.
Large-diameter wheels with no spare behind them
G80, G90, GV70 and GV80 run big wheels on short sidewalls and generally carry a sealant kit rather than a wheel. Pothole damage on these is normally a torn sidewall, which sealant cannot repair, and the sizes are not carried on a general tire truck. The full sidewall size and whether you have the wheel-lock key are the two things to have ready when you call.
Air suspension settles once the car is dead
Air-ride G90 and GV80 models drop toward their stops with no power, cutting clearance and tightening the loading angle. It looks alarming and is normal.
All-wheel drive on most of the range
Most Genesis models sold here drive all four wheels, so a flatbed with all four off the ground is the default rather than the exception.
Paint and trim are part of the job
These are expensive to put right cosmetically. Straps go to designated points, and a rescuer who reaches for a hook on a body panel is not one we want on the call. It is worth naming the make so the truck arrives set up correctly.
The Genesis calls we take
Pothole tire damage
Correct-size large-diameter tires brought to the vehicle, with the size and wheel-lock key confirmed before dispatch.
Towing
Flatbed for all-wheel drive and air-ride models, with a shallow approach where the car is sitting low.
Jumpstart and battery
Jump, test and on-site replacement, including electrified models where the 12V is the usual cause.
Lockout and fuel delivery
Opened without damaging trim, and fuel brought to the vehicle.
How a Genesis has to be moved
Worth reading to whoever shows up, whether or not we sent them.
All-wheel-drive and electrified Genesis models belong on a flatbed with all four wheels off the ground. An air-ride car sitting on its stops needs a shallower approach or wood. Securing points are the designated ones, not body panels.

Genesis roadside questions
I hit a pothole. Do I have a spare?
Almost certainly not, just a sealant kit, and sealant will not fix the torn sidewall a pothole usually causes on a low-profile tire. Read the full size off the sidewall and check whether you have the wheel-lock key, and a matching tire can normally be brought to you.
My G90 is sitting very low. Is it damaged?
Usually not. Air suspension settles when the car has no power. It does mean less clearance for loading, so the rescuer may need a shallow approach or wood.
Can it be towed on two wheels?
Most Genesis models are all-wheel drive, so no. Flatbed, all four wheels off the ground, secured at the designated points rather than anywhere convenient.
Genesis and its model names are trademarks of their owner. Road Rescue Network is an independent nationwide dispatch network and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorised agent of Genesis. We name the make because it is what our rescuers service.
Genesis down right now?
One number reaches a live dispatcher. Tell them the model and what it is doing, and the truck that leaves is the one that can actually take your car.
