Need Roadside Assistance For Your Jaguar?
Aluminium bodies that dent where steel would shrug, all-wheel drive on most of the range, and an electric one that plays by EV rules. The hook goes where the engineers put a point, not where it fits.

Jaguar roadside help, dispatched nationwide
Road Rescue Network dispatches 24/7 roadside help for Jaguar. These share a great deal with Land Rover, including the electrical complexity that turns a weak battery into a dashboard full of unrelated warnings. What is specific to Jaguar is the bodywork: aluminium-intensive construction that is expensive to straighten if somebody hooks it carelessly.
Who builds a Jaguar, and why it changes the rescue
Jaguar spent the last two decades moving to aluminium intensive bodies, which is why a modern one is lighter than it looks and why panel repair is specialist work. The recovery consequence is simple. Straps and hooks belong on the designated points, because an aluminium structure does not forgive an improvised one the way a steel sill does.

What a rescuer has to know before they roll on a Jaguar
These are the things that go wrong when a Jaguar gets whichever truck was closest instead of the right one.
Aluminium-intensive bodies punish a careless hook
XE, XF and F-PACE use a great deal of aluminium. It is light and strong in the directions it was designed for and it creases easily in the ones it was not. Load goes through rated points, and magnetic tow lights will not stick to the body.
All-wheel drive across most of the range
F-PACE and most current models drive all four wheels and belong on a flatbed. Rear-drive versions exist, and a bed remains the answer that always works.
I-PACE is fully electric
Flatbed with all four wheels off the ground, no rolling neutral once dead, and a 12V battery that is very often the actual reason the car will not respond.
A weak battery reads as catastrophic failure
Like their Land Rover siblings, these throw a screen of unrelated warnings and refuse to select a gear when the low-voltage supply drops. A test and a jump resolve more of these calls than owners expect.
The Jaguar calls we take
Flatbed transport
All four wheels off the ground, secured at rated points rather than body panels.
Jumpstart and battery
Jump and on-site replacement, which fixes many calls that present as total electrical failure.
Flat tire
Correct-size tires brought to the vehicle, since most carry a repair kit rather than a spare.
Lockout and fuel delivery
Opened without damaging trim, and fuel brought to the vehicle.
How a Jaguar has to be moved
Worth reading to whoever shows up, whether or not we sent them.
All-wheel-drive Jaguars and the I-PACE belong on a flatbed with all four wheels off the ground. On aluminium-bodied cars, hooks and straps go to rated points, never to panels or the bumper skin. A dead car with an electronic parking brake will not roll and needs skates.
Jaguar models we cover

Owners out of factory coverage who want the vehicle handled by someone who knows what aluminium does. Every rescuer carries current general liability insurance and works to standardised response and pricing practices.

Jaguar roadside questions
Why does the aluminium body matter for a tow?
Because load has to go through the points the engineers provided. Aluminium panels crease rather than flex, and straightening them is expensive. It also means magnetic tow lights will not stick, so the operator needs another way to light the vehicle.
The dash lit up and the car will not select a gear.
That is a classic low-voltage symptom on these. A weak battery produces unrelated warnings and a gearbox that refuses. It is worth testing and jumping before assuming a major fault.
How is an I-PACE towed?
Flatbed, all four wheels off the ground, and it cannot be rolled in neutral once fully dead. If it appears completely lifeless, check the small 12V battery first.
