Lucid roadside help, dispatched nationwide
Road Rescue Network dispatches 24/7 roadside help for Lucid. These are uncommon vehicles, which is the practical problem: a general tow operator may never have handled one, and the combination of low front clearance, real weight and high-voltage systems is not a good place to improvise.
Who builds a Lucid, and why it changes the rescue
Lucid builds around its own drive units and a high voltage architecture that runs at a higher pack voltage than most of the field. The recovery consequence is caution rather than complexity. Everything under the floor stays live, the car has to be in transport mode to move, and there is no towing it on its wheels.

What a rescuer has to know before they roll on a Lucid
These are the things that go wrong when a Lucid gets whichever truck was closest instead of the right one.
Low at the nose and heavy in the middle
An Air sits low enough that a standard flatbed approach angle catches the front, and it carries the weight of a large battery underneath. Extended ramps, wood or a low-angle bed is the difference between transport and a bodywork bill.
Very high-voltage architecture
Lucid runs one of the highest-voltage systems in production. Nothing about the high-voltage side is a roadside repair, and no rescuer should be opening anything under the vehicle. The job is to move it safely and let a service centre work on it.
The 12V is still the usual culprit
As with every electric car, a vehicle that appears totally dead is very often a flat low-voltage battery with a full traction pack. It is the cheapest call we take on these and it looks like the most expensive.
No spare, and tires that are not stocked
There is no spare aboard, and the sizes are not ones a general tire truck carries. The size gets confirmed on the call or the visit is wasted.
The Lucid calls we take
Flatbed transport
All four wheels off the ground, with extended ramps or wood for the approach.
Dead 12V
Waking the vehicle and replacing the low-voltage battery where it will not hold.
Flat tire and out-of-charge transport
Correct-size tires sourced and brought out, and transport to a working charger.
How a Lucid has to be moved
Worth reading to whoever shows up, whether or not we sent them.
Flatbed with all four wheels off the ground, loaded on a shallow approach with extended ramps or wood. Do not attempt to roll it once fully dead. Nothing on the high-voltage system is touched at the roadside.
Lucid models we cover

Owners who have already learned that the nearest truck is not always the right one. Every rescuer carries current general liability insurance and works to standardised response and pricing practices.

Lucid roadside questions
Why does it matter that I say it is a Lucid?
Because it is uncommon enough that a general operator may never have loaded one, and it combines low front clearance with serious weight. Naming it gets a driver and a bed set up for it rather than one improvising on the shoulder.
The car is completely dead. Is the battery pack finished?
Usually not. On every electric car there is a small 12V battery that runs the doors and computers, and when it dies the vehicle appears lifeless with a full traction pack. Reviving it is often the whole fix.
Is there a spare?
No, and the tire sizes are not carried on a general truck. Read the size off the sidewall when you call so it can be sourced before anyone drives out.

Lucid down right now?
One number reaches a live dispatcher. Tell them the model and what it is doing, and the truck that leaves is the one that can actually take your car.
