Verified rescuers on call

Breakdown coverage is not the same thing as a service area on a map. What matters when a tractor is on the shoulder is whether somebody with the right gear is close enough to reach it before the driver runs out of hours. Across Missouri we hold coverage in 100 cities spanning 59 counties and 66 metro areas, which is what lets dispatch route the nearest verified rescuer rather than the only one answering.

The anchor markets are Kansas City, St. Louis, and Springfield. Each carries its own corridor detail, local breakdown patterns, and the rescuers actually on call there.

Kansas City is the largest rail-intermodal hub in the lower 48 by tonnage and the second-largest by lift count, anchored by the BNSF Logistics Park at Edgerton, the UP Argentine Yard, and the Kansas City Southern intermodal terminal. The city sits at the convergence of I-29, I-35, I-70, and I-435, the densest interstate cross in the central US, and serves as a primary cross-dock and consolidation point for Midwest agricultural freight, automotive freight from the Ford Claycomo and GM Fairfax plants, and the AllianceTexas / Mexico-bound traffic moving through the BNSF and UP networks.

Freight through Missouri is generated in large part by BNSF Logistics Park (Edgerton), UP Argentine Yard (Kansas City KS), Ford Kansas City Assembly (Claycomo), GM Fairfax Assembly (Kansas City KS), Cerner / Oracle Health (HQ), Hallmark Cards (HQ + Distribution), Anheuser-Busch (Soulard brewery), GM Wentzville Assembly, Boeing Defense, Space & Security, FedEx Express STL Hub, World Wide Technology, and Express Scripts. Fleets serving operations at that scale do not measure a breakdown in hours, they measure it in missed docks, which is the standard our response times are held to.
