Subscription Policy
This Subscription Policy explains how Road Rescue Network subscription plans work — including auto-renewal, billing cycles, upgrades and downgrades, failed payments, and the trials and promotions Road Rescue Network may offer from time to time. This policy operates under and is subject to Section 14 of the Road Rescue Network Terms of Use, which controls in the event of any conflict.
1. WHO THIS POLICY APPLIES TO
This Subscription Policy applies to any Customer, Rescuer, fleet operator, insurance carrier, property manager, law-enforcement agency, or other commercial subscriber who purchases a recurring subscription to Road Rescue Network — including but not limited to Customer roadside protection plans, Rescuer directory listings, dispatch subscriptions, and CRM access tiers.
It does not apply to one-time roadside service requests, dispatch fees, or bidding-pool transactions. Those are governed by the Terms of Use directly.
2. AUTO-RENEWAL
All Road Rescue Network subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period for the same term and at the then-current pricing, unless canceled before the renewal date. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Road Rescue Network and its payment processors to charge your designated payment method on that recurring schedule. This authorization continues in effect until you cancel the subscription in accordance with the Cancellation Policy.
You will receive an email receipt for each successful renewal charge. If you do not receive receipts, add [email protected] to your safe-sender list — missed receipts are not grounds for a refund of a renewal charge.
3. BILLING CYCLES
3.1 Monthly Plans. Monthly plans renew every thirty (30) days from your original signup date. Charges appear on the same calendar day of each month where possible.
3.2 Annual Plans. Annual plans renew every three hundred sixty-five (365) days from your original signup date. Annual plans are offered at a discount relative to twelve monthly renewals. That discount is calculated as a reduction to the annual price, not as a bonus of additional months.
3.3 Multi-Year Prepay. Multi-year prepay plans, where offered, are billed in advance for the full committed term. Cancellation of a multi-year prepay plan mid-term does not entitle you to a refund of unused months, except as required by law.
4. FREE TRIALS AND PROMOTIONS
Road Rescue Network may offer free trials, promotional pricing, first-month-free credits, or discounted introductory rates from time to time. Unless the trial or promotion explicitly states otherwise:
- (a) You must provide a valid payment method to begin the trial or promotion.
- (b) At the end of the trial or promotional period, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription at the then-current standard pricing, and your payment method is charged.
- (c) You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid the first paid charge. Cancellation is only effective when confirmed in your Road Rescue Network account.
- (d) Trials and promotions are one-per-account. Creating additional accounts to obtain repeated trial access is a violation of Section 4 of the Terms of Use.
5. PRICING CHANGES
Road Rescue Network may change subscription pricing, feature sets, and tier structures at any time, effective upon your next renewal. Where required by law or where the change is material, Road Rescue Network will provide advance notice of at least thirty (30) days by email to the address on file. If you do not agree to the pricing or feature change, your sole remedy is to cancel before the renewal date, per Section 14 of the Terms of Use. Continuing to use the subscription after the renewal constitutes acceptance of the new pricing and features.
6. UPGRADES AND DOWNGRADES
6.1 Upgrades take effect immediately. When you upgrade to a higher tier mid-cycle, Road Rescue Network prorates the difference between your current plan and the new plan and charges the prorated amount to your payment method. Your next full renewal will be at the higher tier’s pricing.
6.2 Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. Road Rescue Network does not issue partial-period refunds for downgrades. You retain access to your current tier’s features through the end of the current period, after which you drop to the lower tier at renewal.
6.3 Feature access after downgrade is not guaranteed. Data, listings, prompts, or configurations created only under a higher tier may be hidden, disabled, or archived after downgrade. Road Rescue Network will not delete data solely because of downgrade, but access to it may require re-upgrade.
7. FAILED PAYMENTS
7.1 Retry Schedule. If a scheduled subscription charge fails, Road Rescue Network may retry the charge on a rolling schedule for up to fourteen (14) days. During this retry window, your access remains active.
7.2 Suspension. If all retries fail, Road Rescue Network may suspend access to subscription features — including AI Agent minutes, directory listings, dispatch subscriptions, and CRM access — until the unpaid balance is settled.
7.3 Reactivation. Suspended subscriptions may be reactivated at any time by paying the unpaid balance plus any accrued fees. Prior-tier grandfathering, promotional pricing, and trial credits do not carry across a suspension.
7.4 Termination for Non-Payment. If a suspension continues for thirty (30) or more days, Road Rescue Network may terminate the subscription and, at its sole discretion, remove associated listings, prompts, or configurations.
8. TAXES
Subscription prices are exclusive of applicable sales, use, VAT, GST, and similar taxes. Where Road Rescue Network is required by law to collect such taxes, they will be added to your subscription charge at checkout or renewal. It is your responsibility to provide accurate tax-jurisdiction information.
9. HOW TO CANCEL
See the Road Rescue Network Cancellation Policy for step-by-step cancellation instructions and the effect of cancellation on your current billing period.
10. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
See the Road Rescue Network Refund Policy. Note that consistent with Section 14 of the Terms of Use, Road Rescue Network does not issue partial-period subscription refunds when you cancel mid-cycle, except where required by law.
