Zero Tolerance Policy
Road Rescue Network enforces a zero-tolerance policy against drugs, alcohol, violence, harassment, and unsafe behavior by rescuers or customers using the platform.
1. Our Commitment
Safety is the foundation of Road Rescue Network. Every rescuer and customer who uses the platform must conduct themselves responsibly. To protect everyone, Road Rescue Network strictly prohibits the use of drugs, alcohol, weapons, violence, or harassment in connection with the Service.
2. Impairment and Substance Use
Rescuers may not perform services while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs safe operation of a vehicle or equipment. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Driving or working while impaired
- Having open containers of alcohol or drugs in a vehicle during a service request
- Using drugs, alcohol, or substances while actively engaged in roadside work
If Road Rescue Network receives a credible report of impairment, the rescuer may immediately lose access to the platform pending investigation. Verified violations result in permanent removal.
3. Violence, Harassment, and Weapons
Rescuers and customers must never engage in:
- Threats, intimidation, or physical violence
- Verbal abuse, harassment, or discriminatory conduct
- Possession or use of firearms or other weapons during a service (see Firearms Policy)
Any substantiated violation of these rules may result in permanent removal from the platform.
4. Reporting Suspected Impairment or Misconduct
- If you are a customer and believe a rescuer is impaired, behaving violently, or violating this policy: end the service if safe to do so, exit the area, and call 911. Then report the incident to Road Rescue Network at [email protected].
- If you are a rescuer and encounter an unsafe or impaired customer: you may refuse or end the service for your own safety. Report the incident to Road Rescue Network immediately.
5. Handling False Reports
Road Rescue Network reviews all reports to identify potential fraud or misuse. False or malicious reports may result in suspension or removal of the reporting user.
6. Enforcement
Depending on the severity of the incident, Road Rescue Network may:
- Temporarily suspend platform access pending investigation
- Permanently deactivate rescuer or customer accounts
- Notify law enforcement or regulators when required by law or necessary for safety
7. Independent Contractor Status
Rescuers are independent contractors, not employees of Road Rescue Network. Nothing in this policy alters that relationship.
